Teenagers

I wrote my first computer program in 1978. I cut my teeth on the Chicago Public Schools mainframe, a Trash-80 and an Apple II.

My friend and I were doing memory upgrades on 8088 machines before you were supposed to be able to do them.

I built all the computers in our house. I have a fairly good word-of-mouth thing going fixing jacked-up Windows machines (and promoting Linux as a way to avoid further problems, but who listens?)

But God forbid I should tell the 15 year old that his computer is running slow as dirt because the servers on his silly online RPG are overloaded....

Heh!

I still have one of those old boxes sitting on the "sentiment rack" in the garage.

Remember the Computer Shopper when it weighed about 10 pounds? LOL We used to order all kinds of stuff from them.
