Finally...

...after being Internetless (is that a word?) for ages, we're finally hooked back up to the world.

Been really busy on the homestead.  Discovered that mowing 3 +/- acres is a pain, even with a rider.  Planted trees, stomped around in the woods, lost a bunch of assorted junk in the move, and basically have been dumbfounded that we have been blessed with this place that's OURS.  No more rent, no more landlords, it's ours :-)

I also discovered that it's more fun to bang around out here than surf the web.  That's probably a good lesson for me, and maybe some other folks out there.

I think it's about time to put a lot of that survivalist reading to good use.

Balance isn't easily achieved, but planting, harvesting and hunting seasons wait for NO man!

Congratulations. As soon as I'm off the electronic leash I too will be off to do something more fun.

As much as I love the internet, I really do get a lot more done when it's down, LOL. You're right about that being a good lesson.
